NIKE footwear designer, Aaron Cooper reached out one day and asked if I could help him create a graphic that would wrap around Jason Kidd's new shoe. Cooper was exploring dye sublimation and thought it would be interesting to create a series of 'sleeves' for different players.
The person wearing the shoe could swap out one sleeve for another depending on their mood. This Jason Kidd graphic was inspired by Neo from The Matrix. As a point guard, Kidd was prolific at seeing the entire floor in real time, which made him one of the best point guards to play the game.
